Day Two was set apart for meeting various groups in the eparchy and consequently the Major Archbishop met the religious sisters at 9.30 a.m., then the catechism Head Masters at 10.45, the Eparchial Pastoral Council at 11.45 at the Bishop’s House itself. After Lunch, the Major Archbishop met the Mathru Jyothi at 3.00 p.m. After these meetings, the Major Archbishop visited the MCBS and Trinitarian Fathers at the MCBS Bhavan at Gadikoppa).

The Major Archbishop then visited the NAVAJEEVAN CCC, Bhadravathi before being received at the Kannadiga Syro-Malabar Parish of Holehonnur. The Parish has 35 Catholics who have received baptism by the endeavours of the missionaries here. The Major Archbishop, before the Holy Qurbana, blessed the newly constructed Grotto of the Parish. At the beginning of the Holy Qurbana, the Major Archbishop greeted the congregation in Kannada. Later in his homily he explained to the congregation the meaning of Christian faith which is not one among the different faiths in the Universe. At the end of the Holy Qurbana, the Major Archbishop also spoke in Tamil to the congregation as many of the understand the seriousness of the situation After the Holy Qurbana, there was the meeting of all the priests of the eparchy in which the Major Archbishop emphasized the need for prayer, need to form one presbyterium and to engage earnestly in our ministry. The Major Archbishop also replied to the various queries of the priests. Having concluded the encounter, the Major Archbishop, after having dinner in Holehonneur, returned to the Bishop’s House for night rest.
